Gentile, a CT, was on Adak. in the early 1960s and the late '80s.

MannieMannie Gentilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06225923971073419275noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22656823.post-86568187227727489082010-01-16T23:47:01.645-05:002010-01-16T23:47:01.645-05:00Congrats on the full time gig.

I was a Navy CT on Adak then, and your name and face look real familiar.
Idea for photos: trace the various offensives of the battle, stopping say every 30 or 40 yards or so to take a photo... the main thing missing from books is a good mental picture of that rolling terrain; how the dips and heights determined much ( some? ) of the action.
Last: is the Carmon book worth 80 bucks or so? I'm thinking yep.badgervanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02688067813261200626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22656823.post-2475893351246100692010-01-16T23:18:47.530-05:002010-01-16T23:18:47.530-05:00That's fairly obvious.
