Caught a Kid Cold: down for the count

Here's a downside of substitute teaching:

Escape those disease-ridden larval humans! has the job you need, and conveniently enough they have just had a retirement:

Doug Hicks, deputy superintendent of the Historic Preservation Training Center, will retire on January 3rd following 37 years of federal service.
[snip]
WPTC headquarters was moved to Monocacy National Battlefield near Frederick, Maryland, and renamed the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC) in 1995.

Heck, the guy is your neighbor. If he can commute to Monocacy so can you. :)

I'm a Park Ranger at Antietam National Battlefield. I'm very fortunate to be able to live and work in such a significant and beautiful place.

I try not to spend too much time looking back as the future appears so rosy. A lovely new wife, a daughter, and many good friends are greatly cherished by me. I'm a lucky optimist. Other stuff from me here: http://manniesartimitateslife.blogspot.com/
