Some places are more special than others

There are many corners of this battlefield that are particularly contemplative...

                                          and inviting.

Where one's perspective can be heightened...

                                         or altered.

Places that resound with a vitality and an affirmation of the human struggle.

Dunker Church, for me, is one of those places.

Do come see for yourself.

Indeed, one of the most famous little structures in all of american history! I can picture in my mind the peaceful people that first built that building in such an incredibly beautiful place. Little did they know then what was to occur around the very bricks they were laying.

You must be very busy my friend. Long time no post :) Hope all is well with you & yours!

Thanks Barry,

I know my posts have been somewhat sporadic.

Personal issues.

Thanks for checking in and for the good cheer.

Mannie,

Just wondering...Does the NPS allow weddings there, and if so how many a year take place.

I love to sit inside the Dunker Church when I visit the field and just think.

Hope all is well.

Regards from the Garden State,

Steve

Steve,

Yes, weddings are held at the church a couple of times a year.. The Brethern (Dunkers) still gather there once or twice a year to hold services as well.
