After eight years of waiting and working I've finally received a permanent appointment with the NPS. I start on the National Mall in Washington DC on September 8. This is very (very) good news.
Now the hope is to work my way back to Antietam!

You are so good at what you do... photos, story (history) telling, maps, interacting with the public, etc., etc., NPS has to recognize the benefits to be reaped from continuing to use you to our (the public's) advantage.Hope to see you back at Antietam soon.
