Caught a Kid Cold: down for the count
Here's a downside of substitute teaching:
Walking into a classroom this time of year is like climbing into a very lively petri dish, with no sick pay.
Escape those disease-ridden larval humans! has the job you need, and conveniently enough they have just had a retirement:
Doug Hicks, deputy superintendent of the Historic Preservation Training Center, will retire on January 3rd following 37 years of federal service. [snip] WPTC headquarters was moved to Monocacy National Battlefield near Frederick, Maryland, and renamed the Historic Preservation Training Center (HPTC) in 1995.
Heck, the guy is your neighbor. If he can commute to Monocacy so can you. :)
