Night Firing!

Wow!

Artillery weekend this year included something new to Antietam National Battlefield, a night firing of a section of guns.

As the photos demonstrate, it was very dramatic.

You've simply got to stop missing this stuff!

Still blinking,  just north of Sharpsburg.

Hi Mannie,

Is it possiable that I can get copies of the South Mountain Cannon that you have from Saturday for our archives? Thank you for coming out last night to the Campfire Program. I have a lot of fun and thank you as well as thank you to the staff at Antietam for everything that you do from one park to another.
