Happy Veterans Day...
from my favorite veteran...
Me!
(pictured slightly backwards on Naval Communications Station, Guam, 1971)
CT-R? I served in the Navy same time as you, CT-R on Adak in the Aluetians 70-71. We might have "talked" to each other via morse code 37 years ago. Happy Vet's Day to You. Gary Van Ess, Green Bay, Wi.
Nope! RM, traffic division (32div). No CW for me. Learned it, but all punched paper tape for my particular racket. I knew what "chad" was long before the botched Florida elections.
My brother was a "T" brancher though. He was in for 27 years and did his first and his last tours on Adak (though not when you were there). Best wishes and happy Veterans Day!
