Oh Happy Day!

Antietam's newest full-time permanent Ranger:

me!

To many relatives, family members, friends, colleagues, and total strangers for their encouragement, support and mentorship over the past four years, my gratitude is boundless.

Happily looking only forward, just north of Sharpsburg,

Congratulations Mannie!

Having just been converted from term to permanent status at ULSG in November, after a journey that began in 2005 and took me to four different parks, I know how great it feels to get permanent status. I've never been to Antietam, but I hope to visit eventually, and meet you, as I always enjoy your blog.
