I wonder...
Will the miniseries "To Appomattox" be anything more than folkloric comfort food?
Thanks Mannie...believe me, I wouldn't have signed onto this project as Advisor unless I believed in it. Writer Michael Frost Beckner has written these characters as very human, very historically accurate portrayals. No cartoons here - no idols or caricatures. Once we begin shooting next spring and I'm able to see the scenes come together, I'll be able to report to folks a sense of how this project will look on the screen. I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity to see such a project "done right."
